Paint the outside of a paper cup with orange acrylic or tempera paint. Acrylic paint is recommended if your cup has a glossy surface.
2Paint horizontal lines.
Use a darker shade of orange (mix in a bit of brown or red with orange paint) to make short horizontal lines all around the cup. You can either use a paint brush or your finger to paint the lines.
3Cut out strips of green paper.
Cut out at least 10 strips of green construction paper or cardstock. My strips are ¾" wide and 3" long—adjust yours depending on the size of your paper cup.
4Glue the green paper strips.
Glue the strips along the inside of the cup's mouth.
Once the glue dries, fill the cup with candy and Easter goodies. The taller your cup is, the more treats you can put in.

Add a handle.
Punch a pair of opposite holes close to the cup's mouth before painting the paper cup. Avoid covering the holes when gluing the paper strips in Step 4. Cut a length of ribbon or string and fasten the ends around the holes on the cup.
