1Prepare three craft sticks.

You will need 3 craft sticks to make a 6-sided snowflake.

2Glue two craft sticks together.

Glue 2 craft sticks together in the middle so that they form an "X".

3Glue the third craft stick.

Glue the third craft stick horizontally at the center of the first two to complete the shape of a 6-sided snowflake. White glue will take at least an hour to dry. If you prefer a quicker drying time, use a glue gun.

4Paint the snowflake.

Once the glue dries, paint the entire craft stick snowflake with white poster paint, tempera, or acrylic paint.

5Cut white paper strips.

Cut short strips from white paper.

6Glue the paper strips.

Use the paper strips to make the spokes on your snowflake. Cut them further to suit the snowflake detail you have in mind.

Glue them in place once you're sure about the positions of the strips.

Another fun and easy idea is use tiny pieces of paper like paper confetti. You can buy some white confetti or wedding confetti from craft stores or you can cut your own.

Apply a generous amount of glue on all six snowflake arms. Sprinkle over with paper confetti.

7Add a string.

Tape or glue a string at the back of the snowflake.

8Use as an ornament.

Hang your snowflake as a Christmas or winter-themed ornament.
