Choose the template that matches the size of your paper cup. Open any of the printable files above by clicking the image or the link below the image. You will need a PDF reader to view these files.

Print out the file on A4 or Letter size paper or cardstock.

For the black & white templates:

• The page consists of two sets of templates. Each set can make one paper cup chick basket.
• Color one template set: yellow for the wings, orange for the triangles (beak) and feet, and black for the eyes.
• Cut out the pieces.
• Color the flip side of the wings and the triangles.
• Paint a paper cup yellow. Glue the template pieces onto the cup. Step-by-step instructions with photos are outlined in our Paper Cup Chick Basket craft.
• Punch a pair of holes on the cup—one above each wing. Attach the ends of a pipe cleaner around the holes to make a handle.

For the colored templates:

• Cut out the pieces.
• Glue each pair of wings back-to-back.
• Similarly glue each pair of triangles back-to-back.
• Paint a paper cup yellow. Glue the template pieces onto the cup. Step-by-step instructions with photos are outlined in our Paper Cup Chick Basket craft.
• Punch a pair of holes on the cup—one above each wing. Attach the ends of a pipe cleaner around the holes to make a handle.
