1Make a paper snowflake.

Make some paper snowflakes following any of these options:

• Paper snowflake - fold and cut paper to make a classic 6-pointed snowflake.
• 4- and 8-sided paper snowflakes - though real snowflakes have a 6-sided symmetry, make some paper snowflakes with 4 and 8 sides just for fun.
• Paper snowflakes with printable patterns - eleven printable templates to fold and cut into beautiful paper snowflakes.

2Prepare the glue.

Pour some white glue or clear liquid glue in a small container. Add a bit of water just to make the glue more spreadable.

3Apply glue on the snowflake.

Cut a sheet of plastic wrap larger than your paper snowflake. Place the plastic wrap on a table or flat surface.

Put your paper snowflake on the plastic wrap. Brush over the entire snowflake with glue.

4Put glitter.

Put heaps of glitter over the entire paper snowflake. Do not worry about putting too much.

5Let the glue dry.

Let the glitter-covered snowflake dry completely.

6Peel off the plastic wrap.

Once dry, carefully slide off the excess glitter from the plastic wrap onto a tray or sheet of paper. Save the glitter for future craft projects. Next, carefully peel off the snowflake from the plastic wrap.

If you wish to, you can apply glitter on the flip side of your paper snowflake. Just repeat steps 3 to 6.

7Trim the edges.

You may notice some dried up glue with glitter along the edges of your snowflake. You can remove these by gently breaking them off with your fingers or by trimming them off with a pair of scissors.
