Weave yarn around a paper plate to create a neat spider web—a perfect craft for Halloween or for learning all about spiders.
Wrap the yarn around the plate as shown in the steps above. Note that you can pass the slits on the paper plate more than once. Tape or tie the end of the yarn at the back of the paper plate.
Continue building your spider web by adding more strands of yarn, wrapping them around the plate as you did with the previous strands. I completed my web using four 3 ft-long strands of yarn.

If you drew a spider, cut it out and glue it onto the web. Position the pompom spider or paper spider on the web by positioning the legs in between the strands of yarn.
