- Crayons or colored pencils
- Craft sticks or drinking straws
- Scissors
- Glue stick
STEPS
1Print out the animals.
Choose the zoo animals that you want to print out from the animal sets below. Print them out on A4 or Letter size paper or cardstock.
- African Rainforest Animals - chimpanzee, crocodile, gorilla, okapi, pygmy hippo
- Amazon Rainforest Animals - frog, jaguar, sloth, snake, tapir, toucan
- Antarctic Animals - elephant seal, orca, penguin, seal
- Antarctic Animals - arctic fox, arctic hare, caribou, polar bear, seal
- Asian Rainforest Animals - bearcat, elephant, orangutan, sun bear, tiger
- Safari or African Savanna Animals - elephant, giraffe, lion, zebra
- Sea Animals - coral reef fishes, crab, dolphin, jellyfish, octopus, seahorse, shark, sea turtle, starfish, whale
2Color the animals.
Color the animals with crayons or colored pencils.
3Cut them out.
Cut out the animals.
4Create handles.
Glue or tape a craft stick or drinking straw at the back of each paper animal. Once the glue dries, your zoo animal stick puppets are ready to use!
