Masks 3 and 4 - ready-to-color luchador masks (go to Step 3)
Masks 5 and 6 - full color masks (skip to Step 4)
2Draw a mask design.
If you printed out the plain masks (Luchador Masks 1 and 2), draw your own design on the mask. You can find ideas and inspiration from online images of lucha libre wrestlers or luchadores.
3Color the mask.
Color the mask using crayons, markers or colored pencils. You can also paint the mask with tempera or poster paint.
Leave out the areas bordered by dashed lines:
Eyes
Mouth
Oval section at the bottom of the nose
Pair of small circles near the ears
4Add glitter.
For a glittery mask, apply glitter glue on sections of the mask and spread it with a paint brush or cotton bud.
5Cut holes.
Cut out the eyes, the bottom part of the nose, and the mouth.
6Punch holes.
Punch holes on the pair of small circles at the sides of the mask.
7Attach a strap.
Tie the ends of an elastic string around the pair of holes.
8Wear the mask.
Try on your mask. It should fit snugly but not too tight. Adjust the length of the string if necessary.
Wear the mask with a cape and a pair of tights to complete your luchador outfit. Have fun!
More Ideas
Reinforce the holes.
Strengthen the pair of holes for the strap. Before punching holes in Step 6, put transparent tape over the circles and fold the tape towards the back of the mask.
